Your interview with Margaret Hoover of Firing Line was excellent. It is clear that you are a subject matter expert in evangelical Christianity and that you have your finger on the pulse of that group of believers. Evangelical Christianity is the lens you have grown up looking through and continue looking through as evidenced by the things you write about and how you speak. Your statements in that interview manifest a good measure of godly devotion.
Politics as a means of salvation, trusting in man, homosexuality, abortion and more are topics that have become politicized. You know that “the word of God is alive” (Hebrews 4:12), is “inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16.
Jesus was raised as a Jew and started the Christian congregation. His existence became political. Do you think his earthly stepfather Joseph would have approved? How do you think his heavenly father Jehovah felt? Proverbs 27:11
You likely sense we are living in the Last Days and know about the “Cosmic Clash” that is coming and the importance of remembering Zephaniah 2:2-3 You know the commission Jesus gave his followers in Matthew 28:19-20. You know “There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous ones who have no need of repentance” Luke 15:7;
For these reasons, your entire family is warmly invited to examine things through a different lens and become that “catalyst” so you may “by all possible means save some” 1 Corinthians 9:22.
